Bodie State Historic Park

Reached on a long gravel route, Bodie State Historic Park shows the remnants of the great gold rush. This is one of such places where there are no actors playing scenes that probably never were authentic but perfectly fit our image from Hollywood movies playing in that time. Here are only few visitors and some very nice rangers who answer any questions you may have with a pleasure. The park is also open in winter when it lies under some feet of snow, but you may have a problem getting there.
